I’m Mike Bergin, a Connecticut REALTOR® helping buyers and sellers throughout Litchfield County, Northwest Connecticut, Greater Waterbury, and surrounding communities.
I have a particular interest in helping first-time homebuyers and working families understand what they can afford, what Connecticut homebuyer programs may be available, and how to move through the buying process without unnecessary pressure.
I was born and raised in Waterbury, where my family’s roots go back generations. I lived there for roughly 20 years and later spent 27 years working in Waterbury, giving me a strong connection to the city and surrounding communities.
At the same time, much of my adult life was centered in Northwest Connecticut. I lived in North Canaan for about 20 years, where I raised my family, and later moved to Goshen, where I have lived for the past 18 years.
That combination gives me firsthand knowledge of Litchfield County real estate, Northwest Connecticut, and Greater Waterbury as places where I have lived, worked, and raised a family.
My background in public service gives me a natural connection with teachers, firefighters, police officers, EMS professionals, municipal employees, tradespeople, and other working buyers who are trying to understand affordability, available homebuyer programs, and the path from renting to owning.

Today, I’m based in Goshen, Connecticut, and primarily serve buyers and sellers throughout Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut, while continuing to work with clients in Waterbury and surrounding communities.
